Indianapolis Zoo With Dad
We decided to head to Indianapolis for a nice family weekend and while we were there, I was able to attend a wonderful blogging conference. I was able to meet, learn, network and collaborate with extremely inspirational and caring women. During that time, my son and husband got to spend time together visiting the Indianapolis Zoo! It was a beautiful day for Jacob to be outside, and a great day for me to spend time at a great conference.
Jacob got to visit with the giraffe’s, become a junior dolphin trainer and just run around having a great time seeing all the Indianapolis Zoo had to offer!
Here’s a sneak peak into their wonderful day together!
The zoo has been and always will be a magical place to take your little ones. They will get in some exercise, learn about different animals and spend quality time with their family. The zoo is even open during the holidays! Can you imagine Christmas at the zoo? What an awesome time it is there! It’s an amazing opportunity to see the animals in their natural habitat during the winter months. They have it set up so you can walk around and see hundreds of twinkling lights and there may even be some Carolers around if you get to go before Christmas! There is nothing better than watching a child’s face light up as they take in all the lights and animals!
Here are just some of the wonderful Christmas attractions to see at the Indianapolis Zoo:
- Santa’s Workshop
- Holiday lights
- Carolers (before Christmas)
- Find the Mistletoe w/the Dolphins
- Check out the delicious treats at Santa’s Sweet Shop
- Holiday Photo Ops
- Ride on the carousel
Go ahead, grab a thermos full of hot chocolate and head on over to the Indianapolis Zoo!
